Field Trip to the Weber County Fair: August 14th
Our next Field Trip will be to the Weber County Fair on Saturday August 14th meeting @ 5PM. There may be opportunities to include the crescent moon in pictures.
***WHAT: Weber County Fair on a Summer Evening- Join the Wasatch Camera Club for an opportunity to photograph fairground and thrill ride lights in the setting sun. We will meet early enough to capture some of the late afternoon activities (see the following link for Saturday activities: http://www.webercountyfair.com/general_info.php) and scout out the right locations for later shots.
***WHEN: Meet at 5:00 on Saturday, August 14, just inside the main gates/entrance; sun sets at 7:30. The fairgrounds are located in the northern Ogden area at 1000 N 1200 W (North on I-15; Exit 346 off of I-15 and go east (400 N) then north on 1200 W then follow Fairground signs).
***COST: $6 entry fee (adult), children:$2
***WHAT to BRING: Tripod for a variety of exposure times (we can also share tripods).
