Lights Out Workshop
Wasatch Camera Club is pleased to announce the Lights Out: Dusk and Nighttime Photography workshop, which will take place Saturday, Sept. 18th. This workshop will be conducted by WCC’s own Scott Stringham. Scott has a significant amount of experience with night photography and light painting; we are very pleased to have his knowledge and talents at our disposal for this workshop.
Where: Stansbury Island (I-80 West to second Grantsville exit and turn left)
Time: 6:00 (Sunset for that day will be 7:33 PM)
Cost: Only your gasoline to get there, as there is no charge to enter Stansbury Island.
Equipment: Camera capable of long exposures, wide angle zoom lens, tripod, cable release, flashlight, insect repellant, proper clothing and water to drink, as there are no services on the island.
We will meet on the south end of the island and drive after meeting to where we will photograph. Also, please be aware that the roads on Stansbury Island are not paved, and although graded, they are not suitable for your Lexus. See you there!
