PSA News Update: May 2011
Congratulations goes to Kevin Wellard for receiving 11 out of possible 15 points in the last PSA InterClub Competition for his entry called: Tetons. Other entries include: Quail Creek by Jeff Clay, 10 Points; Turnpike in Orange by Keith Hill, 10 points: Fire Creation by Matt Copeland, 10 points; Nude by Jim Berneike, 9 points and Snow Valley by Chris Miller, 7 points. The competition year is now complete for the InterClub Competition division at PSA as they will now evaluate all entries from the past four competitions to determine the photo of the year. Each year in September PSA holds a huge conference. Any and all club members are invited to attend. This year it is held in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The winner of the grand prize will be announced during the conference. A CD of all accepted entries will be made available at that time.
There are several competition divisions still to come throughout 2011 and we will continue to make submissions to improve our standings at PSA. Our highest scores to date are in the Creative InterClub Competition where we currently hold 3rd place in the Group B category.

The 73rd PSA Conference has an exciting lineup of photo tours, classes,workshops, programs, featured speakers, and social activities. The conference will be held at the Doubletree Hotel Colorado Springs – World Arena in Colorado Springs, Colorado, beginning Sunday, September 18 and running through Saturday, September 24, 2011.
